NEW LIFE IS EXHAUSTING!

Favorite Scriptures Day #18

I got up late this morning. The alarm went off, I turned it off, then rolled over for at least fifteen more minutes of sleep. I was tired. New life is exhausting! LOL! When I went to get my coffee this morning I saw two exhausted parents sound asleep after their lovely child, my great-granddaughter woke them up in the wee hours of the morning. It reminded me that parenting NEW LIFE can also be exhausting! LOL!

I do have NEW LIFE since April 13th. I love it. The Lord spent the past six years preparing me for this NEW LIFE in him. I can't help but get excited when I open my eyes to what God is doing. Every time I enter the church building, every time I meet with a community member, every time I sit down to write a new sermon, every time I wake up in the morning, I feel the NEW LIFE he has blessed me with. Paul said it, "And all of this is a gift from God!"

"And all of this is a gift from God, who brought us back to himself through Christ. And God has given us this task of reconciling people to him. For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people's sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation. So we are Christ's ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, "Come back to God!" For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ." (2 Corinthians 5:18-20, NLT)

I do feel like I have been given the gift of NEW LIFE, even at nearly 65 years old. And I am praying for REVIVAL in our land. I am praying REVIVAL breaks out at South Memorial. I am praying REVIVAL breaks out across the Community of New Castle, Indiana. I am praying REVIVAL breaks out in our State, Nation, and WORLD. We need people to "COME BACK TO GOD" and I pray our church, not the building, but our BODY of BELIEVERS, will take the message of JESUS CHRIST to the STREETS.

New Life can be exhausting but as I wake up brand new each day, God provides the energy, he provides the strength, he provides the joy, and he provides the peace as I head out into the world to serve him. I praise God for each moment of this wonderful gift of NEW LIFE.

"As God's partners, we beg you not to accept this marvelous gift of God's kindness and then ignore it. For God says, 'At just the right time, I heard you. On the day of salvation, I helped you.' Indeed, the 'right time' is now. Today is the day of Salvation." (2 Corinthians 6:1-2, NLT)

COME BACK TO GOD! If you need renewed, if you need a NEW LIFE, I know a guy! LOL! His name is JESUS and he makes all things new. You will be transformed by the Creator of All things.

THE DAY OF SALVATION IS UPON US!
