RARE - LAZY MORNING!

 

Favorite Scriptures Day #26

This has been a RARE LAZY MORNING. Today is my Sabbath day of rest and I treasure these days when I can stay in bed a little longer, I can drink my coffee a little slower, and just rest. Then in the midst of this peace and tranquility, I got an uplifting text. The text wasn't directly from the Lord, but it might as well have been his powerful voice speaking to me. I need those kinds of messages to quiet my heart that YES, I am doing God's will here in NEW CASTLE. I have to admit, I need encouragement on occassion. When I am a bit melancoly the Lord always provides a LIFT in MY SPIRIT. THANKS for the TEXT, LORD!

I'm taking a long motorcycle ride today to go visit my CMA family for a short period of time at our annual STATE RALLY. I give CMA all the credit for teaching me how to GO and share the gospel. When I say that, I mean that GOD used CMA to teach me how to Go into all the world, literally, to serve and love others. I praise God for his divine plan and how it all works for his glory. 

"Finally, dear brothers and sisters, we ask you to pray for us. Pray that the Lord's message will spread rapidly and be honored wherever it goes, just as when it came to you. Pray, too, that we will be rescued from wicked and evil people, for not everyone is a believer. But the Lord is faithful; he will strengthen you and guard you from the evil one. And we are confident in the Lord that you are doing and will continue to do the tings we commanded you. May the Lord lead your hearts into a full understanding and expression of the Love of God and the patient endurance that comes from Christ." (2 Thessalonians 3:1-5, NLT)

I do ask that you continue to pray for Stephanie and I. Pray our ministry here at SM will grow, people will get the desire to go out and find their one, spreading the GOSPEL. Pray that doors will open and that as we continue to serve the Lord, we will be continually rescued from the wicked and evil people of this world. WE TRUST IN THE LORD -- HE IS FAITHFUL!

I love the people God has brought into our life and love to hear God is working in them and through them. Those kinds of texts are just what I needed today. GOD IS GREAT! GOD IS GOOD! Let us BLESS HIM for all HE CONTINUES to DO!
