That's CRAZY!

 

I was watching an interview on some talk show yesterday. The person being interviewed was being supportive of a parent that decided their child should get transition surgery to change them to the opposite sex. I don't like getting political about these kinds of issues, but this is so crazy! Let me make just one statement:

"God does not make mistakes!"

When the child was created through the glorious power of God, he/she was created with one gender. But, I have heard people trying to twist scripture to suit their own agenda and to justify their current SIN OF CHOICE. And so many times innocent children are in the crossfire! We have to stop this madness!

Guess what? This twisting of God's word has happened since the very beginning. Satan twisted God's words in the Garden of Eden. And listen to what it says in Romans 3:

"But," some might say, "our sinfulness serves a good purpose, for it helps people see how righteous God is. Isn't it unfair, then , for him to punish us?" (This is merely a human point of view.) Of course not! If God were not entirely fair, how would he be qualified to judge the world? "But," someone might still argue, "how can God condemn me as a sinner if my dishonesty highlights his truthfulness and brings him more glory?" And some people even slander us by claiming that we say, "The more we sin, the better it is!" Those who say such things deserve to be condemned." (Romans 3:5-8, NLT)

There were ridiculous people in scripture trying to twist God's word just like they do today. Rightly, the people that sin, which includes all of us, are bad enough. But, people that use scripture to justify their sin, that is a completely different matter. 

False teaching is a real problem and a church should deal harshly with those that spread this false gospel teaching. AND there is one sure way to combat this terrible issue. KNOW YOUR SCRIPTURE! SPEND TIME IN GOD'S WORD!

Be able to recognize the errors and if you feel something is not right, ask pointed questions seeking WHERE in scripture the teaching comes from. NOT EVERYTHING SOMEONE SAYS IS IN SCRIPTURE IS IN SCRIPTURE! Don't be gullible and accept everything you have been told, especially when it seems to fly in the face of the rest of what you were taught. 

There is a battle going on in this world and the heart and minds of our children are at stake. We must stand up and defend the truth of the GOSPEL to everyone who spews words against the LORD. 

Heavenly Father, give us strength and boldness to do what is right, to spread the TRUE GOSPEL from scripture. Please guide our words, actions, and thoughts that we might be a living example to others. Help us fight for the children who are caught in the crossfire of culture. Amen!
