His Faithful Love ENDURES Forever!

 

I love August. I love the hot weather and one of the reasons I love it is because I can sit outside on my front porch in solitude, reading God's word, hearing the traffic noisily pass by, and soak up the peace of the morning.  I was continuing my study of 2 Chronicles after Solomon had completed the Temple. He had just completed the celebration of 20 years of faithfully completing this massive undertaking and dedicating it as the HOUSE OF THE LORD. 

"When Solomon finished praying, fire flashed down from heaven and burned up the burnt offerings and sacrifices, and the glorious presence of the LORD filled the Temple. The priests could not enter the Temple of the LORD because the glorious presence of the LORD filled it. When all the people of Israel saw the fire coming down and the glorious presence of the LORD filling the Temple, they fell face down on the ground and worshiped and praised the Lord, saying, 

"HE IS GOOD! HIS FAITHFUL LOVE ENDURES FOREVER!" (2 Chronicles 7:1-3, NLT)

Isn't God GOOD? Yes, we have turmoil. Yes, we have trials. Yes, we sometimes fill crushed, but God is GOOD! HIS FAITHFUL LOVE ENDURES FOREVER! 

The peace of a summer morning reminds me of God's goodness and his peace even while the world arounds speeds by at an astonishing clip. Thank You Lord.

Heavenly Father, i praise you and am so thankful for your your wonderful love. I praise you Lord. I praise you for who you are. Let me praise you all day long. May all that I do today, be an inspiration and a joy to those we meet today! May we take you to the streets today. Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Amen!
